About This Experience
Kids aerial classes at The Sanctuary offer a playful and encouraging introduction to aerial hammocks and silks for children ages 6 and older. Students explore age-appropriate poses, skills, and creative sequences while building strength, flexibility, coordination, body awareness, and confidence. No previous aerial, gymnastics, dance, or yoga experience is necessary. Our instructors provide supportive, step-by-step guidance so every student can learn at their own pace in a welcoming, noncompetitive environment. Located in Chicago’s Edison Park neighborhood, The Sanctuary gives kids a safe and inspiring space to try something new, express themselves, and discover the joy of aerial movement.
