Welcome to The Sanctuary Yoga Studio. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Sanctuary Yoga Studio website, mobile application, online booking services, and related services provided by Jupiter East LLC, doing business as The Sanctuary Yoga Studio (“The Sanctuary,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website or mobile application, creating an account, booking or purchasing a service, purchasing a membership or package, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

Certain features of our website and mobile application may require you to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Minors may use an account and book services where permitted, but individuals under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our services. Participation in classes or activities may also require a parent or legal guardian to complete applicable consent forms or liability waivers.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

3. Bookings and Reservations

Classes, appointments, workshops, sound baths, special events, and other services may be booked through our website, mobile application, or other authorized booking methods.

Reservations are subject to availability, applicable capacity limits, eligibility requirements, and any service-specific conditions.

The Sanctuary reserves the right to modify instructors, schedules, class formats, locations, or other details when reasonably necessary.

4. Regular Class Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise stated, reservations for regular classes must be canceled at least one (1) hour before the scheduled start time.

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in the loss of the class session, class credit, or other amount associated with the reservation, as applicable to the plan or purchase used to make the booking.

5. Sound Bath Cancellation Policy

Sound bath reservations require at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice for cancellation.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled sound bath, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for a refund or credit.

6. Workshops and Special Events

All purchases for workshops and special events are final sale.

Workshop and special-event purchases are non-refundable and are not eligible for cancellation, transfer, rescheduling, or studio credit unless The Sanctuary expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Packages and Class Credits

Class packages are subject to the number of sessions, eligible services, expiration period, and other terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Unused classes or credits expire at the end of the applicable package validity period unless otherwise required by law.

Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise expressly stated.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the applicable package terms before purchase.

8. Memberships and Automatic Renewal

Certain memberships offered by The Sanctuary are recurring subscriptions and automatically renew according to the billing frequency and terms disclosed at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorize the applicable payment method to be charged automatically for each renewal period until the membership is canceled in accordance with these Terms.

Requests to cancel a recurring membership must be submitted at least fourteen (14) days before the next scheduled billing date.

Cancellation requests received fewer than 14 days before the next billing date may not take effect until the following billing cycle, and the upcoming scheduled payment may still be processed.

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Any membership exclusions, eligible services, commitment periods, or additional conditions displayed at the time of purchase are incorporated into these Terms.

9. Payments and Refunds

Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may be changed for future purchases at The Sanctuary’s discretion.

Unless otherwise expressly stated or required by applicable law, all sales are final and non-refundable.

This includes, as applicable, class purchases, class packages, memberships, sound baths, workshops, special events, and other services.

Failure to attend a booked service does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund or credit.

10. Gift Cards and Gift Certificates

Gift cards or gift certificates may be subject to separate terms presented at the time of purchase.

Gift cards have no cash value except where required by law and may not be redeemed for cash except as required by applicable law.

Any restrictions concerning eligible purchases or redemption will be disclosed through the applicable gift-card program.

11. Health, Safety, Assumption of Risk, and Waivers

Yoga, aerial yoga, fitness activities, movement classes, workshops, and other wellness activities involve inherent risks of physical injury.

Participation in The Sanctuary’s activities is subject to our applicable liability waiver, release, and informed consent requirements. Clients may be required to execute a separate waiver before participating.

You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you and for communicating relevant limitations or concerns to the instructor when appropriate.

These Terms do not replace or supersede any separately executed liability waiver or release. If additional terms apply through a signed waiver, those terms also govern your participation.

12. Aerial Activities

Aerial yoga and other aerial activities involve additional risks associated with suspended equipment, height, inversion, balance, physical exertion, and potential falls.

Participants must follow instructor directions and all applicable studio safety requirements. The Sanctuary may decline or discontinue a participant’s involvement in an activity when reasonably necessary for safety.

13. Studio Conduct

Clients are expected to treat instructors, staff members, other clients, studio property, and equipment respectfully.

The Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation, or restrict participation when reasonably necessary because of unsafe, disruptive, threatening, abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate conduct, subject to applicable law.

14. Mobile Application and Website

The Sanctuary website and mobile application are provided to facilitate activities including browsing services, booking classes, purchasing eligible services or plans, managing reservations, receiving communications, and accessing studio information.

We do not guarantee that the website or mobile application will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.

Features may be modified, updated, suspended, or discontinued from time to time.

15. Push Notifications, Email, and SMS

If you enable push notifications through The Sanctuary mobile application, you may receive notifications concerning bookings, studio information, schedule updates, promotions, special events, and other relevant communications.

You may control push-notification permissions through your device settings.

Where you separately consent to receive marketing email or SMS/text communications, those communications may be subject to additional consent and opt-out provisions. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the applicable unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism.

Transactional communications relating to purchases, bookings, account activity, or service updates may still be sent when necessary.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website and mobile application may rely on third-party technology and service providers, including Wix and payment-processing providers.

Your use of certain features may also be subject to the terms or privacy practices of those third parties.

The Sanctuary is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or other failures caused by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.

17. Intellectual Property

The Sanctuary name, branding, logos, website and app content, photographs, graphics, written materials, class descriptions, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Jupiter East LLC unless otherwise indicated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

18. Photography and Video

Photography, video, and media-consent matters relating to participation at The Sanctuary are addressed through our applicable liability waiver, media release, or other consent process.

Nothing in these Terms independently grants The Sanctuary permission to use a participant’s image where separate consent is required.

19. Changes to Services, Pricing, and Policies

We may modify schedules, offerings, instructors, pricing, packages, membership offerings, policies, and these Terms from time to time.

Changes generally apply prospectively. Where applicable law requires advance notice for a particular change, we will provide such notice.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were most recently revised.

20. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website, mobile application, and related digital services are provided on an “as available” basis.

Information provided through The Sanctuary is intended for general wellness and informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nothing provided through our website, app, instructors, or wellness offerings should be construed as medical advice.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jupiter East LLC and The Sanctuary Yoga Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website, mobile application, or digital services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

Any separately executed liability waiver or release applicable to physical participation at The Sanctuary remains independently effective according to its terms.

22. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to our website, mobile application, account features, or services where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse, safety concerns, violations of these Terms, or other legitimate business or legal reasons.

Any outstanding payment obligations or provisions that reasonably should survive termination will continue to apply.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Any dispute relating to these Terms will be handled in an appropriate court having jurisdiction in Cook County, Illinois, unless applicable law requires another venue.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable purchase terms, membership terms, liability waivers, policies, and other agreements presented to you, constitute the applicable agreement concerning your use of The Sanctuary’s website, mobile application, and services.
